Characteristics: 4-7mm forewing length, Long thread-like antennae
Eggs: In suitable larval food, among clothing or carpet fibres,
Larvae: whitish caterpillars which form silk tunnels camouflaged with fibres and debris
Pupae: Last larval skin, develop in two weeks to two months
Adults: Small straw coloured wings held along body when resting, females do not fly, short lived
